Who Am I?

I am Scar, hear me roar.
I hear your echos. Some only out of obligation.
Some because you believe. Some still out of hope.
But those voices grow weaker.

I am Scar, the Conquerer.
I have destroyed all who stood in my way.
I am the King, undisputed.
I have all I ever desired.

I am Scar, the Leader.
I have done the impossible -
I have brought lions and hyenas together,
Into one undefeatable force.

I am Scar, the Husband.
My mate is insane. But she loves me.
She would do anything I asked, for better or worse.
Sometimes she frightens me.

I am Scar, the Father.
I have a son. He is an idiot.
I do not mean this in the cruel sense,
But the cub will never be King.

I am Scar, the Destroyer.
I see the lands wither around me.
I see the herds grow fewer and more distant.
It can not be my fault.

I am Scar, the Murderer.
I killed my own brother for being faster, stronger, better.
I saw to the death of my nephew for being next in line.
It was the only way.

I am Scar, the Solitary.
I am feared and despised.
I hear the whispers and know they stop when I approach.
This isn't how I wanted it.

I am Scar, the Lost.
I hold to the past, and fear the future.
I mourn the death of my own innocence.
I know my days are numbered.

I am Scar. Hear me weep.
