I did this a long time ago for a friend, making a lot of changes and bugfixes to an existing talker -- enough to have permission from the original author to rename it.

That was over a decade ago, and I have no idea if this software is even still runnable, let alone safe. I am still posting it partially for documentation, partially because I saw a reference to it here or there on the web, and so seeing it here may be helpful to anyone still trying to maintain one. ;)
